12 Trader Joe’s items [ to put you in the fall spirit ]

Happy Day 2 of #5DaysofFall!

If ole Trader Joe isn’t your best friend yet, he’s about to be. I’m gonna introduce you to 12 of our favorite Fall items that TJ’s offers seasonally (although they have a million more that I haven’t yet explored). Kick start your week with a Trader Joe’s run and get some of these goodies that’ll put you in the fall spirit!

  1. Fall Candles – I’m pleasantly surprised at these scents! Vanilla pumpkin is dreamy, and there’s an apple scent that’s crisp and refreshing. Plus, they’re super cheap!

2. Apple Blossoms. These are like mini apple pies, and they’re so good for an effortless dessert! The instructions say to bake them, which I’ve done like… once. I usually just stick them in the microwave. Nothing bad has happened. Microwave apple pie = winning.

3. Cinnamon Raisin Bread. Good news – this actually isn’t a seasonal item, so get ready to have a great year. But really, this bread is so packed with cinnamony goodness that you smell it 4 feet away, and it toasts into gooey perfection. Top it with whipped cream cheese and you’re SET.

4. PUMPKINS, DUH! TJ’s has some of the most unique fantasy pumpkins, and they’re always the best prices. Small, medium size, massive, whatever your style. We won’t judge.

5. Pumpkin Spice Rooibos Tea. I’ll reassure you – the pumpkin flavoring to this is really light, and the rooibos flavoring is riiiich. It’s SUCH yummy tea. Drink a cup and float away to dream land. You’re welcome.

6. Carrot Cake Spread. So good! Imagine carrot cake, but without the cake. But not just a carrot. Nevermind. Let’s start over. It’s light and zingy – sweet, like a jam. Perfect for morning toasts or bagels.

7-8. Pumpkin Tortilla Chips and Fall Harvest Salsa. If this sounds risky to you, have no fear. This blend has all the wonderful notes of your favorite chips and salsa with some added warm autumn veggies. All the heart eyes.

9. Cinnamon Broom. (You don’t eat this.) You’re gonna smell this as soon as you walk in the store. Grab a few to put around the house, OR #protip, put one in your trunk and let it fill your car with heaven on earth. You’re welcome.

10. Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancake Mix. Subtle, but with all the glory of pumpkin spice. Pancakes and pumpkin spice. Let that sink in.

11. Pumpkin Spice Almond Beverage. I use this to make my own version of lattes! Combine half a cup of this with half a cup of coffee or chai and you’re golden. Iced or hot, it’s amazing. And dairy free!

12. Spiced Cider. I promise, I saved the best for last. No joke, we literally bought 30 or more of these last year to stockpile through the off-season. LOL. Ice it, it’s amazing. Heat it, it’s dreamy. Also, do yourself a favor and look at the ingredients and marvel at how minimal they are. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!

Okay, those are my top picks! Lemme know what you think! Happy shopping! (Tell Joe hi for me).
