Since we moved into our house almost a year ago, there’s been a project I’ve been wanting to take on.
Our kitchen has a little built-in desk area, but I knew right away that I wouldn’t be using it as a desk – and I would probably really need some more kitchen cabinet space. While I’m still inspired to one day fill it with an actual cabinet that matches the rest of them, today is not that day. I got some inspiration the other week of what I could do to make this space seem a little more finished and a little more useful.
And that’s when i got the idea to add some curtains to the kitchen! I took the inspiration from older, vintage bathrooms that have a curtain underneath the vanity instead of cabinets. Since my kitchen already leans a little more “classic,” I thought this could be an easy thing to pull off!
I ordered some curtains off Amazon, as well as a small tension rod, and got to work!
I’m super pleased with the result! Check out this week’s video to see the process and the final result.
