I’ve been wanting some “reading chairs” to go in our bedroom for some time now. In the meantime, we had a little makeshift reading nook set up with some vintage wooden chairs.
Last week, I happened upon some chairs that someone was giving away. They were made of bonded leather that was in pretty bad shape, as bonded leather often behaves.
After some strategic cleaning and prepping, I “reupholstered” these (aka went to town with the staple gun and glue) with some cozy sherpa material!
These big, fluffy chairs are definitely “in” right now, and the material seemed both forgiving enough and cozy enough to try out on our reading nook!
