Happy Thanksgiving week to you all!
I’m getting started on the holiday meal prepping, because when you’re making a ton of dishes all from scratch, you can use all the time you can!
If you’re curious as to what we’re feasting on this year, here goes…
Turkey! I’m making my first organic turkey (not counting all the Jennie O ones). I think I’m cooking it in a PAPER BAG lined with butter. I’m making a brine for it that you’ll see in this video!
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy – Making it GF and full of broth!
Cranberry Salad – get the recipe from my Thanksgiving cookbook!
Stuffed Mushrooms – a family recipe of stuffed mushrooms with chives, heavy cream, and swiss cheese. Yuuuum!
Sweet Potato casserole – organic potatoes, maple syrup, and topped with homemade marshmallows!
Ezekiel bread stuffing – not GF but Ezekiel bread never gives us any issues! Adding in some cranberries to this recipe
Pumpkin pie – making it all homemade and with GF crust!
Homemade gelato – yesss, you read that right. It’s one of my favorites!
Banana bread with caramel – You gotta try!
